I’m heavily inspired by eastern culture and especially geishas! I created this look in ode to cosplay, geisha’s and anyone who makes kanzashi! (such an art). I love working with flowers (im such a girly girl) so I made flower pasties and hairclips. I also spent hours making a kanzashi hairpiece…it was really pretty. Then I forgot to wear it for the shot. Dam. More Geisha inspired photos to come soon, I’m planning a Geisha tech fan act for the near future, taking inspiration from bad ass girls from films like Kill Bill and any Kung Fu movie I’ve ever seen, inspiration from cosplay convention photos and from custom latex designs. It will be epic. Its going to take me a while to nail though, lots to plan!

Starmap magic! Film and Editing company

If your looking for anyone to film or edit, these are your guys- Starmap Studios run by Leeds based talent Sam Moss and John Stuckey have been colloborating over the past few years to create some original and awesome stuff. They’re experience in festival filming, music videos, short films and promotional work make them the perfect team to take on any project. Not only that but they do quality work fast at an affordable price. Plus they just so happen to be lovely people too :) Check out more of their work on facebook at https://www.facebook.com/starmapstudios

They did a great job on my fire promotional video and also created something equally awesome but completely different and bizarre for my colleague Roxy Storm.

Here’s an image that has inspired me to push my boundaries and take bigger risks! I’m a huge fan of the Arcadia Crew from Bristol. And even got the chance to perform on their after burner stage with my band Slamboree for 3 nights at Electric Picnic Festival last summer. Such a wonderful crew and amazing company. I have my own aerial hoop- fire ideas so watch this space!

Pearls & Swine, run by the lovely Binks is a small business dedicated to making fascinators, masks, hair pieces and more.  She consistently makes quality and original pieces aswell as continuing to become even more creative and exciting. Her work has really taken off which lead to the launch of her separate sister company ‘The Temptress of Waikiki’ the Burlesque range. I had the pleasure of modelling for her website last year, I really loved every image (and we had alot!!) I just received a new white iridescent half mask and pasties from her- pics to come in a few weeks! Check out her stuff at http://www.pearlsandswine.co.uk

I’ve been toying with 2 of my more bellydance-esque acts recently -‘Eastern Promise’ and ‘A Girl in Paradise’. ‘Eastern Promise’ is having a complete revamp (can’t wait to show you new pics soon!). I’ve almost scrapped ‘A Girl in Paradise’ but I think theres potential in it so I’m going to work on it. Am very inspired by tribal bellydance and the styling and costuming so am going to get crafting again to try and come up with some new headpieces and hairstyles. This lady is hot.

Amelia Nightmare- I love everything about this Lady. I think shes absolutely inspirational. Her portfolio is so creative, I think she does her own hair, makeup and styling and her poses are original and evocative. I wish I had her hair and tatts!
